The project is part of the activity of the laboratory of digital humanities being realized in 2018 within the project “Department of excellence DILEF”, which has as its main object the creation of computer tools for the study of humanities in the department. The specific theme of the research funded by the grant will be the collaboration with computer scientists and linguists in the development of tools for the study of the Italian language in synchrony and in diachrony, and in particular corpora marked XML/TEI, electronic dictionaries and glossaries, statistical and computational tools (with particular attention to the specificity of the electronic text of documents connoted in diachrony), readability indexes calibrated on specific language varieties
