The Department of Romance Languages invites applications for at least one full-time, one-year appointment (non-tenure track) as a Lecturer to teach all levels of Italian language and culture in an undergraduate program committed to dynamic language instruction. Possibility of annual renewal for up to an additional two years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and approval of the Dean. Teaching load is 6 courses per year of elementary through advanced language and culture courses. Native or near-native linguistic ability in Italian, teaching experience at the university level, and excellent teaching credentials are required. MA required, Ph.D. preferred.
